We are excited to announce that our team has moved to a new location in Shoreham Town Centre.
We spent the previous four years in a building about a mile away from our new location – our old office served us well, and we made great memories there, but we couldn’t be more excited about our new space.
The new office is actually a retail premise/shop on the edge of Shoreham Town Centre, making it easier for you to find us. Parking is easy too. Above is a picture taken by Oliver that shows off our new shopfront! We’re excited about the hustle and bustle happening outside our windows and being able to offer you a place to come and visit us.
While we were happy with our current space, there were several motivating factors to make a move:
1.Space. When we first moved into our last office, there were just two of us and plenty of room. When we left, we’d just recruited a fifth member of the team and space would be tight. The new office offers more square footage, but more importantly it allowed us to rethink our layout to accommodate client appointments. The unit we have purchased has been split into two shops, temporarily we are in one side of the building whilst planning permission is obtained and an extension is built to what will be our long term home.
2.Visibility. In our last office, we were based in a purpose built office in the rear of Kevin’s garden. Whilst our business is small it is too big to be in the garden and there was no way for anyone in the community outside of that building to know we existed, and we’re hoping our new location in Shoreham Town will bolster our visibility in the area and help us more quickly come to mind as the residents are looking to move home and remortgage.
3.Enhanced efficiency. Now we have the facility and a space we are proud of we can invite you to visit us. Our office will have all the tools and resources to hand to allow us to find you a mortgage quicker (possibly on the spot), apply immediately and process the mortgage even more swiftly than we do now. We will still be visiting clients in their homes, however less frequently which means you can recommend us even more and we’ll have the time to serve your friends, family and colleagues.
It has been an exciting time for Number One Mortgages, and we look at this new location as the start of another chapter in our history (we’ve been established now for nearly 14 years). We’re still working on getting settled in and adding artwork to the walls, but we’re incredibly excited to be in the new space to service you better.
