Raising money for a good cause…
Today we are sharing something close to our hearts; Kevin’s mum (our managing director) has a chronic autoimmune condition that affects the liver called PBC (Primary Biliary Cholangitis). PBC causes progressive destruction of the small bile ducts within the liver. Some days Kevin’s mum struggles to get out of bed and undertake normal household duties. The team here would like to raise money for the foundation.
On 12th May we will be having some fun for the worthy cause at the ‘Colour Rush’ obstacle run at Brighton Racecourse. It would mean the world to Kevin and his mum if you would sponsor our team to fund further research to help Kevin’s mum and many others with PBC.
It is our aim to raise £1,000 from our clients, friends and associates. Number One Mortgages will be matching this amount and making further donations for recommendations and Facebook likes too. Our total aim is to raise £2,500.
We also have a signed and framed Brighton & Hove Albion shirt that is up for grabs in a silent auction. There is a reserve price of £250 on the shirt. The shirt was signed by the Brighton & Hove Albion team that took on Crystal Palace in the 0-0 draw on 28th November 2017. All monies raised from the auction will be added to our fundraising total and the auction will run until the 12th May 2018.
Skylights and sun tubes are excellent to funnel natural light into an otherwise dark room. Increasing bulb wattage and adding a dimmer function to electric lighting will enable you to brighten the space when needed and control the lighting levels to create mood.

In addition to the £100 we give you to say thank you for recommendations, we will donate an additional £50 towards this good cause for each recommendation* we receive from you guys until our Colour Rush obstacle run on 12th May.
We will post pictures on our Facebook page and will be giving our readers updates of how much has been raised for Kevin’s Mum’s illness and charity. On that note we are also contributing £5** for every additional we receive on Facebook again until 12th May 2018.
